Manitoba Parks maintains 15K of classic and skate skiing trails through mixed boreal forest in Clearwater Lake Provincial Park, which is located a half hour north of The Pas. Snowshoeing and walking are allowed as well. Trails are set for classic and skate ski.
Four color-coded loop trails can be linked together for a longer ski. Trails range from flat to mostly flat with a couple of good hills.

Parking is at the Pelican Point trailhead and the Chalet parking lot. The chalet gate is locked from time to time so check on the Facebook page to confirm. The chalet is currently off-limits while the club carries out needed renovations, so no facilities are available.
Follow highway 287 to Pioneer Bay campground, 200 m past campground follow signs to Pelican Point or Ski Chalet.
Trails are not lit, and there is no cell service.
