Kenora’s Lisle Compton Selected to 2017 FIS Junior World Championship Team

We are over the moon excited about the recent selection of Lisle Compton to the FIS World Junior/U23 Championships team!

Lisle grew up with the Kenora Nordic Club and started training this spring with the National Development Centre (NDC) in Thunder Bay, ON.

Selections were based on the results from last weekend’s US Nationals in Park City, UT. Levi Nadlersmith (Downtown Nordic/NDC Thunder Bay) and Conor McGovern (Red River Nordic) were also competing for team selection. Both raced extremely well. Levi was recovering from a virus he contracted earlier this month.

We are all so proud of these athletes and what they have accomplished so far. This is only the beginning!
