Riding Mountain Loppet & Family Fun Day – March 7th & 8th

2015 Riding Mountain Loppet

Strap on your skis and get ready for the 9th annual Riding Mountain Loppet on Saturday March 7th, 2015. This year’s Loppet will offer distances ranging from the 2.0 km Chipmunk Challenge, to the 5.0 km Jackrabbit route, to the 10.0 km Cougar circuit, and finally the 22.0 km Wolf endurance course.

Family Fun Day at Riding Mountain National Park

Celebrate the end of winter by taking part in our annual Family Fun Day activities at Riding Mountain National Park on Sunday March 8th. Snowshoe demos, snow sculpting and snow painting are just some of the fun things to do at the Friends Learning Centre. Free hot chocolate, a hot dog fundraiser and bannock roasting will also be offered.
