Wednesday Night Race results posted

And another great Wednesday Night Race enters the history books. Almost 70 skiers tonight!

Where did all those kids come from, you ask? Why, Joseph Teres Elementary School, of course. Local legend and P.E teacher extraordinaire Mr. Markham takes every opportunity to enrich his students with meaningful outdoor educational experiences. And what better place than Windsor Park Nordic Centre on a Wednesday night? As venerable coach and Master athlete Brent Bottomley always says, “There’s no place I’d rather be!”.

Despite the brisk wind it was a good race with lots of enthusiasm. Jim the groomer created a great trail that went beside the wooden bridge across the river, around the grid, back across the river and back to the blue trail. Heartfelt thanks to Jim, from the organizers and racers alike, for his great work!
