Candy Cane Relay results now posted

…and everyone was a winner!

Not true. Actually, it was Gabbie Pelletier’s team that destroyed the rest of the field by almost 2 minutes despite being hampered by the molasses-from-the-fridge speed of Brian Horton and some guy named Paul Lapointe.

Fastest lap time goes to Lucas Smith (3:05!). While Cam The Rocket Roe and Eric The Piston Penton rocked the negative splits competition.
(Chris Roe also pulled off negative splits but to be fair he only started racing mid way through the 2nd lap).

Serious fun was had by all on on a hairpin-full short course with a roller coaster finish. Many dressed festively for the event and everyone found creative ways to hand off the candy canes without breaking them.
