Event Series: Wednesday Night Race
Wednesday Night Race – now Thursday

The projected frigid weather does not permit us to hold this race as it puts both athletes and volunteers at risk. We really want to have a race, but making sure that it is safe and fun is our first priority. The Race Organizing committee will continue to monitor the weather to see if there is a possibility of holding the race on Thursday night in lieu of Wednesday.
The projected weather for Thursday evening is currently colder than the Nordiq Canada guidelines, so we are hoping for a favourable shift by a few degrees. The format and distances are also things that we are considering in order to create an opportunity to race one more time in 2024.
