Prairie Loppet Report
What a great day for a ski race!! I’m thrilled with the turn out.
The snow cover on the trails was pretty dicey leading up to the race. With the above zero temperatures we were only able to start grooming after 7am Sat morning when it finally got cold enough. But with a big effort from Tristian the groomer and everyone who helped out we were able to run the race with 170 people, although the start was a bit delayed.
To everyone who helped out, thank you so much. What a great community we’re a part of. And thanks to all of you racers who showed up today and made it a fun day of racing.
