Ski First Aid Course – October 22nd & 23rd

Next Ski First Aid course will be October 22nd and 23rd in Winnipeg.

Location: Windsor Park clubhouse – 10 rue Des Meurons

This will be a two-day Red Cross 16 hour standard first aid course/CPR with a Nordic/Xcountry ski rescue component.

Course hours will be from 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM both days. We need minimum 10 people to run (maximum 40).

Cost $165 + taxes, includes course instruction and book. You need to bring a lunch.

Deadline to register: October 18th

The goal of the course is to provide baseline first aid training to as many people as possible so we can help our friends, family and teammates in the event of a medical emergency or an injury. We want to be able to identify emergencies, know how/when to call for help and how to provide basic effective interventions while waiting for that help. And how to help Ski Patrol when they need extra hands.
