Last month Leah made history by winning all three National Championship road events.
On July 27th she’ll be wearing the Canadian national champion’s jersey as she races along the Champs-Elysées with the rest of the world’s elite women, a few hours before the men’s peloton arrives in Paris for the final stage of the Tour de France. If you are a cycling fan you surely know how big of a deal the first edition of La Course is for women’s cycling. Leah is over the moon!

Leah turned professional not long after moving to BC to attend Quest University. However, her ties to Manitoba remain strong and she is still coached by Manitoba Provincial Team coach Jayson Gillespie.
After Paris, Leah will immediately head to Glasgow to compete for Canada at the 2014 Commonwealth Games.
Manitoba fans will be watching. Best of luck to you Leah!
