Book Launch – Chris McCubbins: Running the Distance

Gimli, MB author Joe Mackintosh has written a biography on Chris McCubbins to be released in late September. One of Chris’s many accomplishments, and his legacy to cross country skiing in Winnipeg, is the school ski program he started in 2003 for students in downtown Winnipeg. The Chris McCubbins School Ski Program is funded by proceeds from the annual Get Off Your Butt and Ski Corporate Challenge event and the Canada-Manitoba Bilateral Sports Development Program administered by Sport Manitoba.
