Western Canadian Championships team

The CCSAM High Performance program is sending a team of 13 athletes and 4 coaches to the Western Canadian Championships held in Canmore, AB January 19 – 22, 2012.

Coaches Jane Mathews, Corey Kolbuck, Megan Carter & Betsy Harris will support the following athletes over 3 days of racing later this month. Be sure to give them your words of encouragement if you see them on the trails this weekend in Kenora. Their results will be on Zone 4 and we’ll link to them from our Races outside Manitoba page.

Alex Druwé will be notably absent this weekend as he will be skiing in the Callaghan Valley, BC at the Junior World Trials. Alex will be competing with the best Junior athletes in the country for a spot on the team that will compete in the Junior World Championships in Turkey later in February 2012. Best of luck this weekend Alex!
