2026 Spring Dryland Training Camp
May 22-24, 2026
Location: Spruce Woods Provincial Park
Cost: $65 U14 & older (Fri to Sun)
$40 U12 (Fri & Sat only)
No charge for club coaches or coach assistants but everyone must register for the camp. This is an educational opportunity, participating coaches will receive PD points in The Locker.
Registration closes: May 18 midnight
Eligibility:
Full camp open to all CCSAM Provincial Coach & Athlete Development Program registered athletes. (U12 – Senior race category)

Supervision:
Athletes under the age of 16 must attend with a parent or supervising adult. A club coach does not count as a supervising adult unless specific arrangements have been made. Athletes 16+ may camp on their own and their adult contact must be their club coach in attendance.
Accommodation:
There is a group campsite booked at Kiche Manitou Campground for anyone who wants to use it – its group use Bay 11 site 1. This site can have up to 60 persons! Families may choose to camp here or book a private site at your own expense.
Food:
We will have a group BBQ Friday night included in registration. Otherwise athletes will need to bring their own food.
General schedule:
Friday May 22 6:30 pm – Sunday May 24 at 2:00 pm (U12 May 23-24 only)
A detailed itinerary and what to bring will be sent out to each registrant.

Pole running
Optional lactate testing for U20 and U18 athletes
BBQ on Friday night
Bring all necessary equipment for roller skiing (HELMETS mandatory, skate and classic poles with road tips), trail running, and pole striding, bounding and running.
Note: Pack for changing weather conditions. Bring your own food, water/hydration and, pre/during/post activity snacks.
