Ski Patrol Training Opportunity

Canadian Ski Patrol – Red River Zone is looking for new members

The zone provides first aid services in Southern Manitoba, including at ski hills of Springhill, Holiday Mountain and Falcon Ridge, at the Windsor Nordic Center and at biathlon competitions.
They further provide first aid services for a variety of events that extend over the summer months.

As a part of the Canadian Ski Patrol you’ll join a community of individuals from many walks of
life and with various backgrounds who above all share a passion for helping others. It is an 
excellent way to make new friends while supporting the community. In attending patrol shifts, 
you will have plenty of hands-on opportunities to apply the advanced first aid you learn through 
our in depth training and build leadership skills as you become more comfortable with your 
abilities.

Advanced first aid training is provided, a 60 hour or more course consisting of an in person 
hands on component combined with online self study. At the end of the training there is a written 
and practical exam to evaluate your abilities.

Patrol shifts are flexible to your schedule, available shifts are posted online and available for 
sign up at your leisure.

Experience skiing, snowboarding or cross-country skiing is preferred – NOT REQUIRED
