Manitoba Winter Games Westman & Parkland Regional Ski Workshop

Pauline Nadlersmith, Kurt Mazur & Laurie Penton are hosting a Manitoba Winter Games “warm-up” event this Sunday.

The objective is to bring together cross country skiers from the Westman and Parkland Regions for a 2 – 3 hour workshop to hone skills and generate enthusiasm and team bonding for the Power Smart Manitoba Winter Games next March 2014.
This is not a workshop for first time skiers.

Sunday March 3rd
10:00 AM to 12:30 PM
Wasagaming, Riding Mountain National Park
Meet at the Friends of Riding Mountain National Park Learning Centre (Columbine Street, Wasagaming)

Skiers born in 1998 – 2002 (will be 11 to 15 years old in 2014) Kids born in 2003 are welcome as well.

• 2 to 3 hours of xc ski technique and fun relay type games
• Both classic and skate technique
• Snacks provided
• Hot dog lunch at Friends of RMNP afterward
