Western Canadian Championships team selected
CCSAM’s High Performance Program Selection Committee is pleased to announce the athletes selected to represent their clubs and Manitoba at the upcoming Haywood Noram Western Canadian Championships in Grande Prairie, Alberta, Feb 22nd – 24th, 2013.
The athletes selected are:

- Ben Dearing – Junior 2 Boy – Whiteshell Ski Club
- Anna Kroeker – Junior 1 Girl – Red River Nordic
- Katie Lockhart – Junior 1 Girl – Kenora Nordic
- Dominique Druwé – Junior 1 Boy – Red River Nordic
- Elora Adamson – Juvenile 2 Girl – Red River Nordic
- Fiona McIsaac – Juvenile 2 Girl – Red River Nordic
- Levi Nadlersmith – Juvenile Boy – Downtown Nordic
- Levi Warkentine – Juvenile Boy – Boundary Trails Nordic
- Lisle Compton – Juvenile 1 Girl – Kenora Nordic
- Samuel Anthony – Juvenile Boy – Red River Nordic
The brave and talented support team leading this Westerns trip was announced here at the end of January.
Honourable mention goes to Eveline Juce – Juvenile 1 Girl – Riding Mountain Nordic – who had an exceptional skate race at the Provincial Championships this past weekend. Eveline will not be able to attend Westerns this year due to a prior commitment.
Due to exceptional achievement, Conor McGovern – Midget 1 Boy – Red River Nordic, will receive coach and wax support as well as an athlete subsidy to represent his club at the event.
