SOS & OURS host Seine River walk this Saturday

Come in your winter boots and meet us at the Windsor Park Nordic Centre (Corner of Des Meurons & Regal) for a Winter Walk on Saturday, February 18 at 10:30am – noon along the meandering Seine River and through the Windsor Park and St. Boniface Golf courses.

The walk will provide us the opportunity to feast our bodies, souls and minds in this winter wonderland. At the start of the walk, we will also hear about the importance of maintaining these golf courses as green spaces instead of converting them into condominiums and other types of development as some of our City Councilors aspire to do.

This winter walk is sponsored by Save Our Seine and OURS – Winnipeg (Outdoor Urban Recreational Spaces) and is one of a series of events connected to the Actif Epica bike race that begins at St. Malo and ends in the center of Winnipeg that same day.
