Friends of Birds Hill Park Cross Country Ski Clinic

Enjoy the Wonder of Winter!

Friends of Birds Hill Park invites you to join us for a Cross Country Ski Clinic at 11 a.m. on Sunday February 26.  We will meet two instructors from the Canadian Association of Nordic Ski Instructors at the Interpretive Workshop in Birds Hill Park for a primer on ski equipment and clothing, and tips on waxing and ski technique.  Then the instructors will accompany us on about an hour-long ski, offering their wisdom along the way.  This event is for beginners and intermediate skiers.

PLEASE REGISTER EARLY!  A maximum of 18 skiers can be accommodated.  When registering, please provide your contact information, number of skiers in your party and the ski ability of each (beginner/intermediate).   Register by email: info@friendsofbirdshillpark.ca or call Shannon: 783-4249.

Participants MUST BRING THEIR OWN SKIS and dress appropriately for the weather.   Meet at the Interpretive Classroom (located at the north end of Nimowin Road) by 11:00.  All of our activities feature fun, refreshments and friends.
