Were disappointed to find the tracks to be very shallow, at least the first 100 meters so decided to ski  Bittersweet instead.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Forgot to add that the ski hut in the middle of the trail system was renovated in the summer with a fresh coat of paint on the outside (along with mortar sealing), new flooring, new windows and a new stove. The river crossing to the Maple trail however has a couple of large rocks on it to be aware of.  Good news is the tracks on the Maple are untouched by walkers as they are staying on the side. The groomer said the EAST side trails were not groomed and would likely not get groomed for the rest of the season.  The 5 km skate deck looked very good. I only encountered 3 or 4 rocks to watch out for.  Also noticed they made considerable effort to clip those nasty overhanging branches; thank you groomers.</p>
