I arrived at the Stables lot around noon to take advantage of the heat of the day. Skied Esk, Chick  loop, Esk again to the forest path to the Kiln loop and back to the Stables lot.<br />

I arrived at the Stables lot Mar 2 noon, and skied Asp and Chick. Tracks well defined with some blown in spots and  debris from the big wind late last week. The good news on the debris is that it in being skied in and only marginally affects glide.<br />

You have to accept human nature these days: everybody seems to focus on themselves.<br />

 did the Asp loop and then the Blue from the Chick  parking  lot back to the stables lot.<br />

The trails have had a lot of traffic but are in good shape with the right track more wowed and faster ( 8 to 12 ft, glide), and the left track better formed with 6 to 8 ft, of glide.<br />

The Lime Kiln is still only skier tracked although BK reported that it was &#8220;doable&#8221; and the track at the junction of Esker showed a skier track that seemed better defined. I met a skier who had done Bluestem backwards from the Chickadee parking lot and they reported a decent skier tracked trail. There was app. 6-8&#8243; of snow with some grass visible. An ok ski.</p>
