The groomer just finished grooming with the snow that fell. I have not skied it yet, will try tomorrow morning before it warms up. The days of very limited for skiing, I only see plus temperature in the forecast.

The trails where groomed Saturday, we skied the outer loop Sunday morning, good track, but icy. Very few bare spots very easy to ski around. I skied the big hill on the north side, icy and fast, my wife skipped it.

About 100 geese have returned, sun tanning on grass sections .

Only a few skiing days left. Most of the signs have fallen down.

I skied the outer trail, now that I’m back from Jamaica, nice to be on the snow again. The trail is good condition, a few minor bare spots that are easy to work around. The biggest bare spot is the hill on North side near Setters Trail and Parkton Place.

Hit the sweet spot here tonight. Perfect snow temp, moisture depth and texture. Smoothest, easiest, deepest trackset of the season on a firm but just malleable enough base at -8C with no wind at 1am. Oof, that felt good. Head to St.Andrews and enjoy. Restaurant is open for breakfast at 8am too.

Classic tracks and conditions were excellent yesterday (Sunday). So good that we did not want to stop so did every trail twice. The small trail at the bottom of the south 5 km is a nice addition and very enjoyable.

We erased the existing tracks and groomed a 48″ wide corduroy yesterday in advance of the forecasted snow. Skiable and fun, regardless, but consider waiting until classic tracks are set tomorrow if you are a classic skier. We suggest aiming for late Friday and over the weekend for the perfect conditions.

We groomed the trails at Assiniboine Park on Sunday and they are still in good condition and we will be grooming again tomorrow as soon as forecasted snow blows over. The Zoogipon sk/skate/sled shack will have limited hours only on Saturdays as the skating pond is now closed, but the trails will be groomed until the end of season.

Trails are holding up nicely. The skate deck is flat and fast, and the classic tracks are still in really good shape. With the weather forecast looking decent, it looks like we may have a couple more good weeks of skiing left in the season.

See report from two days ago. Still excellent. Groomer was out doing the walking trails as I was finishing. I don’t know if they will be able to groom the ski trails, as the base is rock solid and would take a huge effort to groom. Absolutely worth going out there for a ski even if they cannot groom!

all ski trails have been groomed today. The ice left from the freezing rain has all been processed except for on the classic tracks. Classic tracks are well formed and icy, skins or klister would be the best bet there.

Skate trails are in excellent condition(five stars ++). Get out and enjoy the trails before the big melt this weekend.
