Havent been out there at all this season. They say its groomed, but after the weekend thaw its probably very hard and icy .They have the machine to scarify it andmake it more user friendly, but I dont think they will bother until it snows again. They just dont care. Its so easy for them to drive over the GUR with a vehicle and make a decent pack down of the skate trail at the beginning of the season. Nothing has changed much since . Went down Aspen this afternoon . Very dirty and icy for the most part. Tried Esker , put took a few awkward spills on hard ice and snow and figured my 68 year old bod wasnt up to it. that really sucks. The best classic trail in BHP and someone always has to come along and ruin it. If its not the drunks on thier noisy snowmobiless,or clueless people who cant find their way out of the parking lots , now its horses. Those hoofprints are big and deep. Beware.

He probably entered Aspen trail from the ranch parking lot and drove from Aspen into the GUR and got lost . This also happened a few years ago when a lady in SUV drove all over the trails . People exit the lot onto the Aspen trail and then think they are on the road out to the main road, because the groomed trail looks like the roadway out…Read more

Still very good conditions on Sunday night. Skate and classic will last for a while yet even with warmer temps. Might be a bit softer if the highs do go to +3 and sunny, but the tracks are stiff and icy . Its only start of February and the suns rays are still low, so the tracks wont deteriorate.

Sunday night in BHP was still very good. Skate and classic. Pea soup fog and very dark . Wont be any problem on monday or tuesday. Supposed to get some snow for wednesay . Tracks will last till end of season. No fat biker tracks around.

Classic trails are in good shape. Snow is dirty at the start of the trailheads but much better further in. Used my stickiest wax, as snow is very glazed in most places, and still couldnt get much traction on uphills. Borderline between blue klister and sticky wax.
