There is still a good base, and should be plenty of ski days left, but we&#8217;d be wise to ski only when the temperature is below freezing. &#x1f937;&#x200d;&#x2640;&#xfe0f;</p>

After BBGC, I checked out the classic loop at Living Prairie. Tracks were trampled and/or blown in, as the entire 1.4km is in the open field. Esker was the best, and Chickadee was the worst because of all the footprints. The weekend winds blew many cones into the tracks on the sections with lots of evergreens&#8230;avoid them if possible.</p>

No skate ski tracks on Group Use or Spruce yet, with about 2&#8243; of loose snow. Beautiful day!</p>

Tracks were slower than expected, but not icy and in surprisingly good condition, considering all the recent warm weather and rain. There was about an inch of new snow that was well skied in, and made the tower hill safe to ski down.</p>

Classic tracks were very good, except in the open areas where it was blown in from Saturday&#8217;s wind and where an errant snowmobile had travelled along it for a good distance. Also drove up Nimowin Road to check out the Spruce trail. It was groomed corduroy with many footprints near the parking lot.</p>

The skate deck was loose and uneven, but the soft snow was beneficial on the hills, and the groomer did a nice job of not tracking the hills. Always enjoyable and exciting!</p>
