DESCRIPTION:CCSAM Provincial Development Program \n2026 Spring Dryland Training Camp \nMay 22-24\, 2026 \nLocation: Spruce Woods Provincial Park \nCost: $65 U14 & older (Fri to Sun) \n$40 U12 (Fri & Sat only) \nNo charge for club coaches or coach assistants but everyone must register for the camp. This is an educational opportunity\, participating coaches will receive PD points in The Locker. \nRegistration closes: May 18 midnight \n \nEligibility:  \nFull camp open to all CCSAM Provincial Coach & Athlete Development Program registered athletes. (U12 – Senior race category) \nCamp Coordinators: Andrew Vanden Berg andrewcvandenberg@gmail.com \nSupervision: \nAthletes under the age of 16 must attend with a parent or supervising adult. A club coach does not count as a supervising adult unless specific arrangements have been made. Athletes 16+ may camp on their own and their adult contact must be their club coach in attendance. \nAccommodation: \nThere is a group campsite booked at Kiche Manitou Campground for anyone who wants to use it – its group use Bay 11 site 1. This site can have up to 60 persons! Families may choose to camp here or book a private site at your own expense. \nFood: \nWe will have a group BBQ Friday night included in registration. Otherwise athletes will need to bring their own food. \nGeneral schedule:  \nFriday May 22 6:30 pm – Sunday May 24 at 2:00 pm (U12 May 23-24 only) \nA detailed itinerary and what to bring will be sent out to each registrant. \nRoller skiing technique \nTeam building games \nPole running \n*NEW* Ecoaims demo and Run & Shoot + Orienteering course designed and led by a professional! \nOptional lactate testing for U20 and U18 athletes \nBBQ on Friday night \nBring all necessary equipment for roller skiing (HELMETS mandatory\, skate and classic poles with road tips)\, trail running\, and pole striding\, bounding and running. \nNote: Pack for changing weather conditions. Bring your own food\, water/hydration and\, pre/during/post activity snacks.

DESCRIPTION:Oct 2 – 4\, 2026\nMoose Mountain Provincial Park\n \nCamp information package\nZone4 Registration – register by Sep 27th (midnight)\n \n\nProgramming is applicable to U12 – U23 athletes (birth years 2004-2016). \nAthletes (and Coaches) must be registered members of a Nordiq Canada (CCSAM) club and training for ski racing.\nAthletes (and Coaches) must be registered in the 2026-2027 PDP (and completed all the Safe Sport requirements): https://zone4.ca/register.asp?id=38765\nCoaches must have a current Nordiq Canada Coaching license: 2026-2027 Nordiq Canada Coaching License\nAthletes must be comfortable with sustaining a minimum 2 hours of activity time per session (2 to 3 sessions daily) and be capable of Nordic cross country skiing a minimum 10km per session in previous season.
